Hi Miss K, 
          Actually I am finding a book. I think it's name is Aditya's girlfriend. And name of leads are Aditya and Zoya I don't know. Aditya is a senior student in college and Zoya recently admitted to college with her bestfriend pihu/mehak I don't remember and she comes to know that there is famous boy named Aditya in college. To get saved from ragging she lies to everyone that she is Aditya's girlfriend and if somebody tried to rag her shell tell Aditya. There are few instances I remember:
          -A fresher party is arranged for freshers and she goes there wearing blue saree or blue one piece and her best friend wears yellow dress. 
          -They are 3 roommates she and her bestfriend and a girl named ruchika I think and that ruchika is a lesbian and she likes Zoya' bestfriend and just to avoid this truth she behaves very rudely with her 
          But Zoya's bestfriend has a crush on Amartya a cheerful, cool guy of college 
          - There is suicide incident also. I think her name is Malti and she is very nerdy type of girl and she takes this step  because of her boyfriend I think
          - Aditya is heartbroken due to breakup because he proposed his girlfriend in front of whole college and she rejected him 
          - That ex girlfriend bullies Zoya and then Aditya confronts his ex
          - then Aditya and Zoya start liking each other and want to marry but due to caste difference her parents do not agree and do not even let her complete her studies
          That's all I remember and I don't even if all this is in story just a vague memory  please help me in finding this book
