Hey, sorry to bother you and I'm sorry I didn't talk to you for a while, but this has been on my mind for a bit. I realize that I can't do this on my own and I don't know anybody that has good writing tips and background ideas like yours. So only if you want to, would you like to be the co-author/partner with me for my descendants books. I understand if you can't do it if you're busy or you have other books to write (or if you just don't want to) but your the first person that's really helped me with my brainfog and your ideas changed my book for the better. If you say yes that's great but currently working on a stranger things book with someone and I had put my descendants book on hold for now until I finish the stranger things book. Please let me know ;)

@StormixBlue thanks for reading my stories. i only heard of 'ever after high' and that it died, so 'disney's descendants' could be born. but i'll definitely have to give it a try.

even though i didn't have high hopes for the final season of tua (given the many problems with s3), i never could've anticipated the horrible end this show would meet because of the multiple atrocities and character assassinations that happened.
because omg s4 of tua absolutely sucked. i'm still literally trying to process wtf i just watched because i still refuse to believe it's real. the show already had already fallen off but s4 also being its last meant that tua would down in a flaming pile of hot garbage. and its absolutely disappointing to see how lazy writing ruined this once beloved show.
s4 is such a disservice to the story, its characters and the audience that it's upsetting it even exists in the first place.
( and as i said before, a fix-it fic is on the way. i have to give these characters some sort of justice since the writers obviously didn't. )

@JordynRegular The Umbrella Academy. It's a comic book series created by Gerard Way ( yes, the same Gerard Way from MCR ) that was later adapted into television series by Netflix.

The more promo I'm seeing for "Descendants: The Rise of Red," the more I've realized I've seen this type of thing before. Like the plot sounds awful lot like many fanfictions I've seen on here (ex: Queen of Hearts' having a daughter named Red, that daughter being brought to Auradon, Wonderland being separate from Auradon and the Isle, etc.), so I'm not excited for the movie.
Like I'm starting to wonder if whoever wrote that movie read a bunch of fanfictions for inspiration because Disney wanted something to revive this franchise.

Wow, thank you so much for telling me that. And to think I've had this app for five years and I'm just now finding this out. You know what, I should probably publish it and put a book cover on it so people can read it. Thank you for patronizing me. And FYI you're wrong, people do inspire their books from other book authors without it being "plagiarism." Like this person.

@SnowdropGirl15 Wasn't trying to be patronizing and I'm sorry if you took it that way. I was trying to be helpful by directing you to other avenues that didn't depend on directly taking ideas from other authors and explain things from my POV. And you're right, you can be inspired from the works from other authors, it's a large part of why the writing community exists and thrives. Sorry about that. It's the "taking aspects from other authors' work" that isn't sitting right with me. I just find that there are so many other avenues and ideas just waiting to be explored in any fictional universe that it doesn't warrant taking from another author. There so many things you do can with your own story to make it stand up on its own and ultimately be its own body of work, and you're not going to get if you're using another author's work as a crutch. For example: You previously mentioned that Ben is your OC's love interest. - If your OC is a VK: What is their homelife on the island like and how has this impacted their worldview? Are they part of the original batch of VKs heading to Auradon or they come later? How do they adjust to living on a poverty-stricken island to the vast abundance that is Auradon? How do Ben and OC overcome their differing worldviews and build a connection? Does OC and Ben's relationship impact OC's relationship with other VKs? Was OC close to anyone left behind on the island? If so, how does OC being in Auradon impact that relationship? - If your OC is an AK: Are they another royal or a commoner? Do they have magic and have to hide it? How do they feel about the joining of nations under one crown? How has it impacted their life in Auradon? How do they feel about a teenager becoming king? How do Ben and OC know each other / come to know other? Does Audrey, who is originally Ben's girlfriend, like OC or does she feel threatened by them? How does OC come to know the VKs? Is she wary of them. Hope this helps clear things up :)

@SnowdropGirl15 I’m glad that you like the series, truly, but what you’re asking for isn’t right. If you’re struggling finding inspiration, rewatch the movies or read the books. Go directly to the source, not take ideas from others. And yes, you should rewrite your drafts and take out anything used from my stories. The world is the Descendants universe is large. There are many avenues to explore that shouldn’t lead down the same one I tried to explore with my own stories.

Is it okay if I use a bit of your book plot points from your descendants book, for my oc's relationship with Carlos de Vil for my descendants Isle of the lost book. My oc's character relationship with Carlos won't be romantic as her love interest is Ben. Once I'm done with it can I send it to you and tell me what you think of it?

@SnowdropGirl15 I'm sorry but I'm going to have to decline that offer. You shouldn't be using other writers' work and calling it your own - it's plagiarism, which isn't okay. In regards to my Descendants series, the plot points are straight from the movies / books, particularly the former, so you should that as your inspiration first and foremost.
