I started writing when I was in middle school as a way to escape reality. Bullying had a HUGE impact on my everyday life, and getting out of bed was a bigger chore than I would've liked to admit. But now, at 20 years of age, I'm finding it easier to enjoy life when you get out of your comfort zone and strive to be better. I've faced plenty of challenges in my life, and I am still facing new ones every day, but there's one thing that will always make me go on: Spite. I've lived through absolute hell but I am still on my own two feet trying to make something of myself. I refuse to show weakness to those who would use it against me. I will keep going, even if it is just to prove to those who doubted me that I am capable of supporting myself and accomplishing stuff 14-year-old me never would have dreamed of.
