idk if i overreacted, but this morning i TOLD my friend that i scheduled a meeting w my prof after class, explaining that it was the only one available time left, even tho the technical start time was during a different class (meeting starts at 11:45, class ends at 12), therefore the meeting had a shorter length (also my prof gave pre approval for me to be late to the meeting bc i was in another class and there were no other options). as i was telling her this, she interrupted me, so when she finished, i re-explained it. later, in the class, we had a question to ask the prof i was meeting w, and i said i’d if i had time in the meeting (bc there may not be time bc it was cut short). and she was like “u have a meeting with her? oh great then i can come with u and we can ask her” and i was like “no” and tried to re-explain the situation but she interrupted me and was like “yeah and i’ll go with u”, and i fucking snapped and was like “no you’re not” and reexplained it again. then she went silent and starts texting our other friend abt me (in front of me). then she apologized (over text), saying she didn’t mean it like that, and saying she didn’t know i had a meeting, and didn’t mean to seem like she was trying to take my meeting that was already shorter, like what were u suggesting then? so after the meeting i explained to her that part of the reason why i was so upset was bc i already told her before class (TWICE BC SHE INTERRUPTED ME, BUT I DIDNT MENTION THAT PART, BUT I SHOULD HAVE) and she got mad at me and was like “well i wasn’t listening”. like yeah that’s obvious. and interrupting me has been consistently happening w her. and she KEEPS commenting on my body. and she is also the one who keeps says things come easy to me (when she procrastinates studying). at this point, i just can’t wait for summer so i can get away from her.
