            but by a miracle (whether it could actually be called that or a curse is still up for debate),  she was eventually chosen to be adopted by a segyein.  'they seem rich' was zarina's first impression on the one that was going to adopt her.  crimson eyes wandered to look at the other segyein and pet human employees that were lined up behind the main segyein,  making a rather intimidating pathway to walk through as she did so upon them leaving the orphanage.
            
            "  you have the potential to be an outstanding specimen.  therefore,  consider what i have done for you to be a gateway to your eventual success.  "  they were arrogant from the sounds of it too,  great-  the segyein now known to her as "obsidian" was also the owner of a business named 'tartarus',  one that dealt with the security and safety of anyone who had wished to use their services.  though it mainly consisted of high class segyeins and generally rich assholes with money to carelessly throw around (those are the words of zarina herself).
            
            under the progressive years of obsidian's strict training,  she eventually managed to become that very promising specimen he originally saw potential in,  and now represents being the "star" of tartarus security.  she has since been the company's top role model bodyguard,  one who efficiently follows any and all orders that are given to her regardless of how daunting the task may be.

            at not being able to handle the sight of zarina anymore,  her mother has chosen to give her over to an orphanage.  it's not like the other one who created zarina too cared about her anyways.  the residential institution was one that handled and raised children put in there for similar reasons like her.  this was all for the purpose of making those abandoned human children into suitable candidates to eventually be adopted by other segyeins.
            
            zarina,  during her what felt like permanent stay there,  was one that rarely got along with the other children.  they also seemed to be frightened by her unnatural characteristics,  even throwing words of insult at the young girl and called her names.  instances such as these is what resulted in many fights,  her growing colder in personality by the day with every bullying that ensued.

            the segyein who owned zarina's mother was a horrible being,  one that would treat the woman as if she was their servant.  immoral acts were even committed onto the older woman as punishment for not listening to her owner whenever she defied them,  which resulted in the eventual birth of zarina herself.
