I am Dacosta Boakye, writing under the pseudonym Boakye D. Alpha. As a multifaceted creative, I contribute to the Ghanaian creative scene as a writer, filmmaker, content creator, and book reviewer. I am the Founder and Director of Creatives Project Ghana, a community dedicated to connecting Ghanaian creatives with new opportunities.

I am also the co-founder, executive producer, and head writer at Dare To Dream Studios, a film company based in Nigeria. Currently, I serve as a jury member for the 2025 flash fiction contest by the European Association of Writing Programmes and as an editorial member of UEA's University Creative Writing anthology.

Currently pursuing an MA in Creative Writing at the University of East Anglia under the Global Voices Scholarship, my work has been featured in publications such as GUAP Magazine (UK), The Shallow Tales Reviews, and Lolwe.

Throughout my career, I've been passionate about crafting stories that tackle societal issues and amplify underrepresented voices. My work has earned recognition through accolades like the Tony Elumelu Storytellers Fund, the Multichoice Talent Factory scholarship, and the MoveAfrica Grant by the African Union, among others.
