⋆  crimson hues widen, diluc evidently surprised by kaeya's words.. and even more so by his actions. he freezes up when he's shown affection, something that's been ever since he returned from snezhnaya, and it's the same now. he remains still for a few moments, until arms raise shakily to return the embrace. it is a slow thing, hesitant, but once his arms are round kaeya    - no, his /brother/ -    he holds on tight, pressing him close. as if apologising for all those years of barely any contact. as if he were afraid to let him go again.  ⋆

@angelshre,    do  you  think  me  innocent  in  all  of  this?    i  could  have  told  you  of  my  true  nature  at  any  time,   but  i  withheld  that  secret  from  you  and  i  kept  it  from  master  crepus.   i  should  have  never  told  you  when  i  did.   i  have  never  blamed  you  for  your  actions,   nor   your  anger.    (   a  pause,    and  that  silence  lingers.   he  is  wrapping  his  arms  around  the  older  before  he  can  think  of  his  own  actions,   before  he  can  stop  himself.   )   you  lost  your  father.   the  only  coward  in  this  situation  was  me.
