he gaped , giving a few quick blinks. after a long silence he let out a loud gasp and then pointed a finger at the other. "you! in person ... " holy shit THE shanks was on his boat. his wanted poster was on.. his.. wall. sure , aalto had his own wanted poster — he wasn't a self proclaimed pirate , he took down ships — mostly when the ocean claimed she was bored. but shanks? that was / different /. "here. on boat. um uh — why? can stay! no problem. but .. " he was docked , it wasn't like it would be / hard / to enter his boat right now , but out of all of the surrounding ones — his??
aalto wasn't usually a very expressive man. it was easy to hear the emotion in his voice , but other than occasional smiles , he remained studiously calm. the ocean being the only thing hes really ' spoken ' to this past decade was at fault for that. she did not need expressions or words. she felt his emotions , as he did hers. but now? it was a bit perplexing the varied emotions that had spread across his face in the short duration they had spoken.
"thanks. no apologize , is fine! just me so .. " he motioned towards the sails with a shrug. there was no crew , no need to symbolize his solo - sailing. although saying that always upset the ocean , and if the gust of wind through his sail was anything to go by , she was no different now.
"thanks , again. not expect you. curious only reason? for boarding." not that he minded. he'd take all of the sails off his boat to make it even MORE peculiar , if that's what it has taken to attract the other. "oh — ! and uh .. " he motioned a finger towards himself, "aalto koskinen. name."

being an emperor of the sea and the chief of one of the most notorious pirate fleets out there, it’s becoming less common for the redhead ⁽ not ⁾ to come across someone unfamiliar with his name. fans, for lack of a better term, aren’t unheard of either. but seeing his wanted poster on another pirate’s ship .. well, that’s a first indeed. he’s not put off by it⸻quite the opposite, it seems. shanks lets out a good—natured laugh, crimson hair whipping in the sea breeze as he has a look around.
