/ atlas does have ties to the mafia , yes but he doesn’t work for the group / organization . more so that he knows the heir , gabriel (later leader of the same group) meanwhile atlas mainly stays out of that business , mainly the drug aspect and k1ll1ng . he’s not really a man of violence , just a man with a good heart who wants to find out what exactly happened to his son who meant missing .

/ kinda how he met gabe in the first place , though him tracking down the mafia group (which we don’t have a name for yet) happened prior it also spurred atlas go to undercover at a party meeting gabriel (bline’s oc) and the rest is history from there . basically his only ties are being married to a mafioso and knowing about various other groups .
