"What brand do you prefer the most?" Tanong ko nang makapagpark. We're at SM Seaside. It's the biggest mall in the city. "If you want the luxury ones, we have to drive for five minutes to Nustar."
          
          Saktong pagtanggal ko ng seat belt nang pumalatak siya. 
          
          "Hala siya! Anong branded?! At luxury?! Ayaw ko! Akala ko sa may mga sale lang tayo kaya ako pumayag!" 
          
          I sighed, shifting uncomfortably to face her. Nakanguso na ito habang kinakalas ang kaniyang seat belt.
          
          Earlier, I assured her that I will only buy her anything on sale that she will choose. Ayaw niyang umalis kami hangga't hindi ko iyon pinapangako. No matter how much I insist that it's okay because I'm paying, she wants me to take her condition or just forget about it. Kaya pumayag na ako. 
          
          "May sale din naman doon." 
          
          Her eyes widened in fraction. 
          
          "Naku naman talaga!" Napasapo siya sa noo. "Hindi. Dito nalang, please. Marami naman magagandang damit sa department store!" 
          
          Nagtaas ako ng kilay. I wouldn't know though. I haven't really been to department stores. I have a shopper for that pero minsan lang din 'yon dahil madalas sa mga boutiques or suppliers na kaagad ako dumidiretso.
