Someone please tell me why Star Trek Discovery gets so much hate? Cause this show is goated so far

Because of it being an so called alternate universe of Star Trek, it is more of in the universe of the three movies that came out in the late 2000s and another reason that it was accused by certain fans that it was copying stuff from other media. Oh and the way they designed the Klingons. No one like how the Klingons were designed in that show, I didn’t even like it. I personally just didn’t like the show because it never caught my attention.
