The Tired Heart:
She looks at the roses wilting slowly in the store, and is reminded of herself
The vibrant, beautiful flower that once stood tall, waiting to catch the eyes of those walking by
Soon the exhaustion sets in, and the petals are unable to keep their vibrancy, the silent yearning still filling the stem as she does her best to still stand tall
All her petals soon fade away, and fall around beside her, as her stem can no longer stand tall for any to see.
Now, she no longer wants to be seen.
Now, she no longer wishes to be yearned for.
The vibrant, beautiful flowers only remind her, of what she once was.
When her heart wasn’t tired.
