@ksf2005 exactly! That’s how I feel too, like I am filled with so much want to write but I try and I can’t get a word down ): 

no, seriously! my motivation for writing is so nonexistent, i literally have to write in small portions/for a small amount of time or i get burnt out. :( which sucks, because when i get a new idea, i’m always so excited about the idea of writing it and then — motivation gone. hghghj.

@Elusahsia I asked if you wanted to do a review for review because I have old requests for review for reviews in review books that are specifically designated for such things. If that were the case, I would have explained that I am not currently available for those things, and that it was my bad for having the posts up still. You also did not really ask for a review, rather said you would love one. Again, I understand this is a platform for sharing stories but I have requested multiple times on my mb for people to not request on my profile for things like  that. I have been spammed by people in the past who make those requests and then get frustrated or hateful when I decline or do not look at their story as quickly as they would like. I have had people make nasty posts, and block me for it in fact. I know there are quite a few people on here who have had similar experiences, and also prefer to not have people post on their mbs for that either. I’m sorry if I came off as rude, but it is a personal preference based on past experience on this site. 

@SojourningGhosts what's the difference between wanting a review and loving for you to give me a review? Or if I say, pls give me a review, or are you able to give me a review, or it would mean a lot if you could give me a review. In any case, it is a request or expression leading to the same activity--- a review, is it not? 
            
            in Any case, I don't think I saw you mention you don't take requests on your profile and I try to check for these things, and if you posted it on your message board, it could go down the bottom, you know, and it's not like I am going to keep scrolling because maybe the profile owner happened to make such a post. 
            
            But I understand your take. It doesn't mean everyone is like that. I mean I have had people say to me they are busy or they will check it out, doesn't necessarily mean it will happen, but so what? There are loads of other people. Why be mean if someone let's say has the time but isn't even interested? We move on. Everywhere there are bad or hateful people. I am sorry you had to go through that though. It could be mentally or emotionally draining, but don't take their words to heart. Ignore them then. It is ultimately your choice to read, review, vote etc. or not to do any of that--- just don't make promises though. That said, I appreciate your apology and thanks for explaining 

@SojourningGhosts you could have just said no or that you are busy. You find it rude because it's random but you were willing to ask if I meant review for review, which meant you were cool with that even though we have never interacted, right? So I don't understand why you think it's rude, considering there are others who advertised. I at least thought to ask you first out of respect, instead of just posting. In any case, i don't think it is a problem to reach out and request. We're all on the same app and share  similar interests towards books, but if you feel it's rude then go ahead and delete my message. That said, I thank you for the response.
