          Realised something about lore from a Game Theory video completely unrelated to it.
          
          In the Bible, in Chapter 10, the prophet Ezekiel says "Cherubim are creatures with four wings and so many eyes that they cover every part of their body". The reason Cherubim had so many eyes was because they were meant to be warriors of God— guarding and protecting what belonged to God. The Cherubim had to keep watch and see EVERYTHING. And what else do share that watching key? Watchers. So somehow, some way— the Watchers are symbols of Cherubim. Whether they’re "corrupted by the devil", gone rouge or God is more horrible than ever (seeing as they take mortals and make them Watchers and also overlook DEATH GAMES) is something undecided. But this implies there is something else in MCYT lore that’s higher than the Watchers, a being better, something that created them— created life.
          
          But this leads to the fact that there is, canonically, a God. Whether it’s a God or some kind of "creator" or "founder" is unclear— but maybe we could link that to The End credits, the conversation. Maybe those are the Founders of the world, maybe they’re the Architects who created everything. Maybe they made the Cherubim who went rogue and turned to Watchers, or maybe one of them was exiled to Hell and THEN created the Watchers!
          
          
          Or maybe it’s just an inspiration from Cherubim- I don’t know.
          But isn’t that a cool possibility?????
