Open Novella Contest | Ambassadors

So even if I’m not a winner, but i made it on the long list, does that mean I can still write and submit the other 18K words? Especially the last 12K words? And I am worried that I have slightly over that amount. Does that get me disqualified? Sorry for the questions. I’m new to this challenge. 

I have a quick question. If I discover a typo in the first two chapters, can I fix these before I resubmit to round 2? Or should I still not touch the first 2k words.

After checking for the 2,000-word requirement, adherence to the content guidelines, correct creation date (Feb 1st–28th, 2025), and duplicate entries, we’ve got 817 official entries moving forward!

The link to round two submissions is officially open, my sweets! So for those who made it to round two, make sure to submit yours before the 31st if you want your story to make it through round three (longlist and shortlist entry)!           Apologies, the Submission form for Round 2 is now open. You will find it in the submission chapter. That said, don't submit until you are happy because you won't be able to make edits once you have submitted. 
          
          All the stories were screened, and those who qualified to continue on to Round 2 were shared in the Round 1 Qualifiers chapter—congratulations!
          
          Right now, the stories are being scored to determine Round 1 Winners. 654 of the 817 stories that qualified have been scored.  We are getting there =)
