I was once a mortal plebeian living at the high lords' mercy.
In the name of tax fraud, I had my limbs chopped off.
For the sake of filling up numbers, I was conscripted to serve half my life in the front lines as cannon fodder.
To survive, I had to cannibalize my blood brothers and sell away my blood sisters.
I was oppressed and at my road's end.
All that stood in front of me was a mountain; it was tall and looming.
It was a magician it was.
Made the sun in the sky disappear.
Heck, even made the sky in the sky go missing.
All that remained in their place was this monster of a mountain.
The mountain was intimidating, overbearing and arrogant.
It also reeked of opportunity.
The air at the foot of the mountain was calm and soothing.
I imagined what it would be like at the summit.
I wanted to see such sights. I wanted to touch the clouds, become one with the stars, and die a fiery but exciting death at the end of my lifespan.
And so, I challenged the mountain using my frail body and battered spirit.
This marked the dawn of my immoral but also immortal story.
