bucky has seen his fair share of strange things unfold since his return to normal life (whatever normal may be), but there was still much he was unfamiliar with. though quite some time has passed, he still had questions that he wasn't sure were able to be answered by anyone. however, his first thought was to visit stephen, as he didn't know many other magic users — if any, that is, that lived in such close proximity to himself.
that's how he ended up in the sanctum full of questions, following stephen around. he had so much to ask but tried to narrow it down, "i'm not even sure you know the answer to this and i'm sure you've been asked before, but... when half the world disappeared, where exactly did they /go/? a different... dimension, or something??"
