i have to come to terms with the fact that expecting support on your fics is just not a thing anymore. people do not care enough to show support but they expect updates… how does that work? it’s honestly turning me off from being on this app much longer which is sad because i still have so many ideas i want to put out and explore within my current fics & possibly future ones (that i have drafted). i know i need to write for myself and i do, but i also yearn for other people to be invested in my ocs just as much as i am. there’s so much fun in having discussions, talking about lore and theories.

@katsukist i feel this, the way people are so entitled about reading fics and will disappear from the face of the earth, or demand updates even though they haven't engaged with the fic. that shit pmo because writing for fandoms we like is a luxury that we want to share with people, but people don't take it that way. it's just sad, anyways, i just try to write for myself and for the moots who i know will support it, but it can be frustrating when you can get rude ass comments over someone who didn't vote or interact anything else. i'm so sorry, just know that its not your fault, at all.

question to any reader who has been waiting for an update on descent to hell, my aot fic; would you guys be down for a complete revamp of the story? 🐺 i’ve been rereading the old chapters and i really hate my writing & i think it’s one of the reasons i haven’t updated it in so so long. that* and the fact that when i do publish it’s absolute crickets. if no one answers, i’ll still revamp it tbh cause there’s so much that bothers me when i look back at how i wrote certain things.
